ECVET and Europass mobility

Going abroad and acquire new skills are not the only advantages. The Erasmus+ mobility projects, in fact, that allow students to work abroad for a period, and all the learning outcomes you acquired during the period spent abroad is transferred, recognized and added, to get a qualification.

This can be possible through the ECVET system, the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational and Education Training, a technical framework for the validation, transfer, recognition and accumulation of learning outcomes, towards a qualification which lists both the learning units achieved in your home institution and the ones achieved during the placement abroad.

The learning outcomes achieved during the mobility are listed in a document, the Europass Mobility. Europass Mobility is a document that students receive at the end of their work-placement and helps professors or future employers to better understand the skills achieved and the tasks accomplished. The Europass Mobility is signed by both the home training institute and the host company and represents a formal recognition all over Europe of the work-placement and a proof of the mobility experience to show to future employers.
